THE CENTER FOR CRAFT, ONE-OF-A-KIND
This year, our One-of-a-Kind award will be presented to the Center for Craft for their extraordinary efforts to support the craft community in Western North Carolina following the devastation caused by Hurricane Helene, as well as their ongoing commitment to advancing the field of craft.

Xenobia Bailey is a cultural activist and visionary artist renowned for her kaleidoscopic crochet mandalas and hats, which draw inspiration from ancient African aesthetics and the ethos of funk.
